Atlanta's warm climate means mosquitoes from March through November. Barrier spray + larval source elimination brings relief within 24 hours. Take your yard back. From $99 per treatment.
Know the Signs
A single female mosquito can lay up to 200 eggs in a bottle cap of water. Recognizing the conditions that attract them is the first step to reclaiming your outdoor space.
Bird baths, clogged gutters, plant saucers, tarps, and low-lying areas that collect rain are all active mosquito breeding sites. If water sits for more than 4–5 days, larvae are likely developing.
Heavy mosquito swarms at dusk and dawn indicate an established local population with nearby breeding sites and active resting habitat in your foliage and shaded areas.
When repellents alone aren't enough to enjoy your own backyard, the mosquito pressure has exceeded what personal protection can manage. This is when professional yard treatment becomes necessary.
Tiny, wriggling larvae in birdbaths, gutters, or water features are mosquitoes in development. Each batch can produce hundreds of adults within 7–10 days. Eliminating these breeding sites is a core part of our treatment.
If you've stopped using your deck, patio, or pool area because of mosquitoes, that's a clear sign the infestation has reached a level that requires professional intervention — not just candles and fans.
Mosquito pressure doesn't respect property lines. If your neighbors are experiencing the same issue, a shared breeding source nearby (drainage ditch, pond, construction zone) is likely driving the problem for the whole block.
Our Process
We attack both the adults and the source — eliminating existing mosquitoes and preventing new ones from emerging.
We inspect your property for all standing water sources, identify primary resting habitat (dense shrubs, shaded areas, leaf debris), and assess the extent of mosquito pressure before selecting the treatment approach.
Standing water that cannot be emptied (ponds, water features, storm drains) receives BTi larvicide — a biological treatment that kills larvae without harming fish, birds, or beneficial insects. Gutters, containers, and debris are addressed to eliminate breeding sites.
A residual barrier spray is applied to all foliage, under decking, fence lines, eaves, and other resting sites. Mosquitoes that land on treated surfaces are killed on contact. Results are noticeable within 24 hours and persist for 21–28 days.
We return at 21 days to re-treat before the residual barrier wears off, inspect for new larval sources, and assess whether environmental conditions (heavy rain, new standing water) have changed the pressure level.
Why Pest Free Atlanta
You'll notice a dramatic difference within 24 hours of treatment. Most customers report being able to sit on their deck the evening after treatment for the first time all season.
We don't just spray — we eliminate breeding sites. Treating only adults while leaving larval sources untouched means mosquitoes repopulate within days. Our combined approach lasts significantly longer.
We apply barrier spray to resting sites (shaded foliage, under decks, eaves), not to flowering plants where bees and beneficial insects feed. We schedule treatments for early morning or evening when pollinators are least active.
We understand the specific mosquito pressure from the Chattahoochee floodplain, BeltLine green corridors, and the tree canopy density in neighborhoods like Inman Park and Morningside. Treatment is calibrated to local conditions.
Our 6-treatment Seasonal Package at $499 covers the full Atlanta mosquito season (April–October), spaced at the ideal 21-day intervals. Save $95 vs. booking individual treatments, and enjoy priority scheduling all season.
Georgia Pest Control License #GA-2024-PCO-0847. Fully insured. If your barrier treatment doesn't deliver noticeable results within 72 hours, we return and re-treat at no charge.

Customer Reviews
"We live on Riverside Drive in Sandy Springs, right next to the Chattahoochee. Mosquito season here is brutal — we had essentially given up on our backyard for two summers. Pest Free Atlanta came out, treated the entire yard including the wooded edge along the fence, and eliminated the larval sources along our drainage path. The first evening after treatment we actually sat outside for two hours. We're now on the seasonal package and couldn't be happier."

"Living in Old Fourth Ward right off the BeltLine, the mosquito situation got dramatically worse once construction started nearby. The standing water and displaced habitat sent mosquitoes straight into our block. Pest Free Atlanta explained exactly what was happening and why, and got us on a treatment schedule. Night and day difference — we're now hosting dinners on our patio again, something we couldn't do at all last summer."

"I manage a community of 180 homes in Alpharetta and we had multiple complaints about mosquitoes every summer. We'd tried the usual solutions — citronella, community cleanup days — and nothing lasted. Pest Free Atlanta set up a community-wide seasonal treatment program for all common areas and retention ponds. Resident complaints dropped by over 80% that season. They're professional, punctual, and the HOA board renewed the contract without discussion."
